The careful prescription, monitoring, and adjustment of medications to treat mental health conditions, ensuring their effectiveness and minimizing side effects.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy

A treatment approach that helps individuals explore and address their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It aims to improve mental health and wellbeing through dialogue and therapeutic techniques.

A combination of these three services are incorporated at each appointment.

Appointment Details

Adult Appointments:

  • Initial Assessment (50 minutes): $400

  • Follow-up (50 minutes): $400

  • Follow-up (25 minutes): $200

Child/Adolescent Appointments:

  • Initial Assessment (75 minutes): $600

  • Follow-up (50 minutes): $400

  • Follow-up (25 minutes): $200

We are accepting new patients. Please click on the “Schedule an Appointment” button below to request an Initial Assessment.

Scheduling: Your provider will collaborate with you to determine the frequency and length of your follow-up appointments based on services requested and your recommended treatment plan.

Telemedicine: Virtual visits may be available for follow-up appointments only.

Policies

Payments: To schedule an appointment, you will be required to provide a credit or debit card in the patient portal. You will be charged the full appointment fee 24 hours prior to your appointment time.

Insurance: Lanier Family Psychiatry is an “out-of-network” provider and does not accept insurance. After an appointment, you will have access to a “superbill” to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cancellations/No Shows: If you are unable to keep your appointment, please reschedule your appointment as soon as possible through the online patient portal. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, or fail to show for your appointment, you will be charged the full fee. There is no charge for rescheduling greater than 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Contacting Us: Established patients should message their provider through the patient portal. If you are a new patient with questions related to services offered, you may call our office at (678) 607-8334 to leave a confidential voice message. Messages are typically returned within 2 business days. If you’re experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call emergency services (911) or go to the nearest emergency room. The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988) is also available 24/7 by phone call or text message.

Services Not Offered: We do not offer evaluations for disability, worker’s compensation, or emotional support animals. Evaluations related to other medical, work, or legal matters are subject to the provider’s discretion.
